We recently visited Disneyland Paris, and we are STILL talking about our trip! Let’s be honest, we will probably be talking about it for quite a while. Of course, it wouldn’t be a DFB trip to Disneyland Paris without eating plenty of food. We took full advantage of our time in the parks, and that also meant trying all sorts of treats!
We tried everything we could, and we are sharing our reviews with you. Whether you have a trip planned to Disneyland Paris and are trying to do your research, or you are just curious what the food is like there, come along with us to dine at Toad Hall Restaurant!
Toad Hall Restaurant is located in Fantasyland at Disneyland Park, and we are headed over to enjoy the ambiance and try out one of its signature dishes. The restaurant is inspired by The Wind in the Willows, and even from the moment you walk up to this restaurant, you will feel like you have been whisked away to the English countryside. The facade of the restaurant features brick and stone work, with lots of details, including a variety of chimneys. As you walk into the restaurant, you walk under a coat of arms with “Toad Hall” in gold lettering.
Toad Hall serves up British fare, which you can enjoy while admiring Mr. Toad’s family portraits and Wind in the Willows artwork. Just about everywhere you look in Toad Hall, you will find fun details! We definitely spent way too long exploring all the walls of this restaurant. You can see Mr. Toad on a variety of adventures around the world.
We could be here all day if we showed you every inch of the restaurant. But we can guarantee that if you are a fan of Mr. Toad, you are going to love exploring this restaurant.
You can even admire a portrait of Mr. Toad. He is looking handsome and very dapper!
Not only are there lots of fun details, but there are also plenty of seating options. We loved all the wood and stone elements throughout the restaurant. Here is a look at one of the dining areas inside Toad Hall.
We also really loved this dining area, surrounded by stained-glass windows.
At Toad Hall, we grabbed the Fish & Chips for €12 (about $14, give or take). You can choose to have ketchup or tartar sauce served alongside them. While these weren’t life-changing Fish & Chips by any means, they were still enjoyable. It was a hearty portion of fish and fries, and the fish was well-cooked with that classic fish & chips flavor. The batter was crispy and satisfying.
We think this is a reliable option in a park where food is hit-or-miss. Will you be thinking of these Fish & Chips forever and ever? Most likely not. But you will likely leave feeling full and satisfied, and having had an enjoyable meal. Plus, the restaurant was so much fun to eat at, and we loved admiring all the details!
So in recap: decent Fish & Chips, but nothing that is going to knock your socks off. However, they are tasty, crispy, and fresh. The ambiance inside the restaurant is wonderful, and Mr. Toad fans are going to love exploring every inch of this restaurant to see what they can find. Even those who aren’t Mr. Toad fans will likely appreciate the English countryside ambiance and cozy vibes of Toad Hall.
