Refreshment Outpost is a fun spot to stop during the EPCOT Festivals, and this year it’s serving up some new holiday treats.
The 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays has officially begun, and there is a lot to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you. We’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. Come along with us as we check out what’s on the menu at Refreshment Outpost this year.
Menu
Refreshment Outpost has a new savory dish on the menu this year — Spiced Shrimp Stew with Jollof Rice. Also returning is the Raspberry DOLE Whip, along with a collection of beer and ciders, and the Boyd & Blair Chai Tea Mule.
Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself!
Eats
This year, we ordered the new Spiced Shrimp Stew with Jollof Rice for $7. We were a little sad that the Peanut Stew from last year didn’t return, but we resigned ourselves to fate and dug into the new dish. The shrimp in it are small, and it doesn’t really have a seafood or briny fish taste. In fact, we found the flavors to be quite pleasant, especially with the spices.
Also on the menu this year is the always popular DOLE Whip Raspberry in a Waffle Cone. The waffle cone is new this year, but the Dole Whip itself is the same as last year.
The Raspberry DOLE Whip is always a refreshing snack, and this year, you can get it for $6.50.
Drinks
Two new beers are on the menu this year – Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co. Florida Ginger Snap Lager, and Crooked Can Brewing Company Chocolate Mint Cookie Stout.
We started with the Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co. Florida Ginger Snap Lager for $12.50. We’ve had a lot of gingerbread and ginger flavors throughout the festival this year, and this fits in line with those snacks. It’s not a BEER beer, but something you can sip on very easily, even if you’re not a normal beer drinker. It almost reminds us of a hard cider.
Next up, we ordered the Crooked Can Brewing Company Chocolate Mint Cookie Stout for $12.50. It’s very chocolatey, and if you love Girl Scout Thin Mints, this is the drink for you because it’s giving that in stout form. This is another drink that’s easy to sip on as you’re just chilling around the festival.
And finally, we got the Boyd & Blair Chai Tea Mule for $12.50, which was one of our Best of the Fest items in 2024! Well, it didn’t disappoint this year, either. It really tastes like Christmas in a can, and we LOVE it. The cinnamon stick in it just makes the flavors sing even more. There’s a slight tangy taste in the back, but then those spices are in the front, and it just all works well together. It also comes in a cute cup, which doubles as a souvenir.
Also on the menu for 2025 is the returning Ciderboys Caramel Apple Hard Cider. You can order this hard cider for $12.50.
OVERALL
If you’re looking for a nice savory item, you can’t go wrong with the stew, but we still think the Peanut Stew from last year was better. However, there are some very nice drinks here, and we recommend that you make a point to visit this booth just for the Mule alone. But all the drinks we tried felt festive.
That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from!
