We are entering one of the busiest times of the year at Disney World! It is hard to believe Christmas is just a few days away, and 2026 will be here before we know it. If you are headed to Disney World in the next two weeks, be prepared for lots of crowds. We think the holiday season at Disney World is so magical, and even though it will be crowded, you can still have a fantastic time with your family.
Make sure you plan ahead and leave plenty of time to reach your destination. If you are heading to Disney Springs for a dining reservation, plan to arrive at least 60 minutes early. The parking lots can get very crowded, and they can also reach capacity. Also, consider using Disney World transportation or ride-sharing services like Uber or Lyft. We don’t want you to miss out on some yummy food!
While Disney World has been decked out in holiday decorations since the beginning of November, it is entering a hectic time as kids are on school breaks and adults have time off for the holidays. From snoap falling on Main Street, U.S.A., to decorations and treats throughout the resort, we love this time of year. And so do lots of other families!
Be prepared for heavier crowds throughout Disney World, and leave yourself plenty of time to get around Disney World property. Disney Springs is especially busy this time of year, and businesses in the popular entertainment district are warning guests to arrive even earlier for reservations. Restaurants like The Boathouse are urging guests to arrive at least 60 minutes early and utilize ride-sharing apps if possible.
Heading into your Disney World vacation with the right mindset around the holidays is so important! Will it be crowded? Yes. But, if you prioritize your days and savor the moments (crowds and all!), we think you are in for a super magical trip at Disney World.
We are in the parks every single day, keeping an eye out for news and updates, so you can have the best Disney World vacation. Make sure to stay tuned to DFB for lots of Disney World tips, tricks, and news!
