Starbucks just launched a new rewards system. We’re so excited that our caffeine addiction is coming with even more perks! The new rewards have three membership levels that will offer new and exclusive benefits.
Starbucks is hoping to reward customers’ loyalty and offer more benefits. The three membership levels are Green, Gold, and Reserve, and your rewards tier will be based on the number of Stars earned throughout the year in 2025.
Every Starbucks rewards member, regardless of tier, will receive the following perks:
- Free Mod Mondays: One free customization on any drink once a month
- Early access to personalized offers and games
- Earn Bonus Stars with qualifying Starbucks Card reloads of $30+
- Earn Double Stars by using a personal cup in-store
The first tier is Green Member. This is the lowest level that you’ll start out on as a new rewards member. In addition to the perks above, you’ll get:
- A free birthday treat that can be redeemed on the day of your birthday
- One Star earned for every dollar spent
- Stars will stay active beyond the six month expiration period with qualifying monthly activity
The second tier is Gold, which you’ll reach at 500 Stars. Gold Members will receive all of the former perks in addition to:
- A birthday treat redeemable for seven days
- 1.2 Stars earned for every dollar spent
- Four extra Double Star Days a year
- Stars never expire as long as your Gold status is maintained
The highest tier is Reserve, which is reached at 2,500 Stars in a year. In addition to the former perks, you’ll receive:
- A birthday treat redeemable for 30 days
- 1.7 Stars earned for every dollar spent
- Six extra Double Star Days a year
- Stars never expire as long as a Reserve or Gold status is maintained
- A free personalized Reserve Card
- Exclusive access to their merchandise shop and Global Coffee Experiences
While we’re very excited for the new Starbucks rewards, there’s a catch. The Starbucks locations in Disney parks on both coasts are operated by Disney, so you’re not able to earn Stars or redeem Starbucks rewards there. If you’re on Disney property and want to use your Stars, head to the Starbucks locations in Florida’s Disney Springs or California’s Downtown Disney. Stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for more news about our favorite thing – coffee!
