Spring is right around the corner, and we know a lot of folks are counting down the days until a very popular McDonald’s treat returns to the fast food restaurant.

We’re talking about the Shamrock Shake, that green concoction that we just can’t seem to get enough of. Well, if you’ve been waiting for its annual return, you’ll be happy to know that your wait will end soon: the Shamrock Shake is returning to McDonald’s on February 17th.
The Shamrock Shake is a little controversial because some people love it, while others hate it, but it’s always one of the most popular spring items on the McDonald’s menu. It’s only available for a limited time, so folks rush to McDonald’s as soon as it’s available every year before it’s gone.

The shake is known for its green color (giving off St. Patrick’s Day vibes) and minty sweet flavor. For those who love it, it’s the perfect accompaniment to a McDonald’s meal. That’s not all, though. The Oreo Shamrock McFlurry will also return on February 17th if you want something that’s even more dessert-like and includes that classic cookies and cream flavor of Oreos. It’s made with McDonald’s classic vanilla soft serve mixed with Shamrock syrup and Oreo cookie pieces.
