Disney technology has been busy blowing our MINDS these days! Disney has confirmed a new Olaf animatronic is coming to Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland, and the internet can’t stop talking about him.

This life-size version of the oh-so-huggable snowman has blown fans away. Now, Disney has given us a new look at him ahead of his debut!
Everyone, Olaf is real, and we are living in a dream world! Over on Instagram, Disney has shared a new look at Olaf arriving in the World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland. You can see Olaf strolling through the land, speaking with Cast Members, and enjoying that warm summer sunshine before declaring, “Summer Snowday is here!”
Olaf will be serving as Arendelle’s Global Ambassador, which is appropriate because he loves SO many things about Arendelle. He even shared that he especially loves when new friends visit him. Disney hasn’t shared when he will make his official debut, but they did say it would be soon.

Olaf will also be found over at the World of Frozen in Disneyland Paris, which opens on March 29th, 2026. It’s a safe bet to assume he will make his Parisian debut when the new land opens. It wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to assume he will also arrive in Hong Kong on the same day or just a little bit before that.

World of Frozen in Hong Kong
The animatronic Olaf will walk, blink, and look around, and even take his arm and nose off! It is certainly unlike anything we have ever seen in the theme parks.

In Disneyland Paris, the new land will include new character meet and greets, several new restaurants, Frozen Ever After, and more! We can’t wait to personally check it all out once the new land is finally open to the public. We’re also eager to see how crowds will react to the Olaf animatronic and how often he will roam around Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland.
