Disney Springs — under numerous names — has been one of the most popular spots on Disney property for going on 50 years, and is a go-to destination for guests whenever they visit the “Most Magical Place on Earth.”
However, if you’re planning to go on a weekend, there are some things you need to keep in mind.
Local Crowds
While Disney Springs is often crowded with guests from Walt Disney World hotels during the week, weekends often bring in large numbers of Central Florida locals to its shopping, dining, and entertainment locations. That’s part of why the complex’s Lime Parking Garage has undergone a refurbishment during the opening months of 2026.
Brunch
One of the major crowd draws at Disney Springs during weekends is brunch. Several Disney Springs eateries offer brunch menus on Saturdays and Sundays. Some of the most popular include:
- House of Blues (10:00-2:00 Sat/Sun): The music-infused eatery offers breakfast burritos and sandwiches, biscuits and gravy, grits, hash, and other Southern-influenced favorites.
- Wine Bar George (10:30-2:00 Sat/Sun): This establishment offers several brunch menus: Small Plates including hummus and mac & cheese bites, Brunch Boards of cheese and charcuterie, Main Plates including omelets, salmon, French Toast, and breakfast sandwiches, and sides and sweets.
- Art Smith Homecomin’ (9:00-1:00 Sat/Sun): One of our favorite Disney Springs restaurants offers brunch specials including doughnuts, French Toast, eggs, sandwiches, deviled eggs, and chicken & waffles.
- STK (11:00-3:00 Sat/Sun): STK offers egg dishes with pork belly and lobster, avocado toast, French Toast, omelets, and hot chicken.
- Summer House on the Lake (9:00-2:00 Sat/Sun): Summer House’s brunch specialties include breakfast burritos, tostadas, hash browns, and huevos rancheros.
- Raglan Road (10:00-3:00 Sat/Sun): This classic Irish pub offers both breakfast and lunch entrees on their Brunchy Brunchy and Brunchy Lunchy menus.
Happy Hours!
Moving on from brunch, there’s also the matter of happy hours. Multiple Disney Springs locations offer drink and food specials during the week, while others extend these offers to weekends. Knowing which deals are available on which days can help decide if you want to brave the weekend crowds or stick to weekdays.
- Frontera Cocina (Daily – 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, featuring classic margaritas for $7 every Monday and $5 shots of tequila every Tuesday)
- House of Blues Restaurant & Bar ($2 off all bottled, canned, or draught beer; $7 house wine and well liquors; $9 margaritas, mules, and Long Island Iced Teas)
- Jaleo by José Andrés (Daily – 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM)
- STK Steakhouse (Monday through Friday – 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday – 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM Featuring specialty cocktails, select wine, and food for $3, $6, and $9).
- Summer House on the Lake (Monday through Friday – 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM) featuring a $10 martini, $5 glass of wine, $4 draft beer, and elevated bar bites (only available at the bar).
