We’re just a few months away from the start of holiday travel, which means it’s time to start planning your vacations and booking those flights!
Luckily for folks flying into Florida from Texas and North Carolina, your life just got a whole lot easier because two new nonstop routes have been added! Here’s everything you need to know about Avelo Airlines’ new nonstop flight routes.
This November, Avelo Airlines will add two new nonstop flight routes from Tampa International Airport (TPA) — one to McKinney National Airport (DTX — Dallas/McKinney) and another to the Concord-Padgett Regional Airport (USA — Charlotte/Concord). Service from TPA to DTX will begin on November 19th, and service from TPA to USA will begin on November 20th.
DTX is located near Dallas and its northern suburbs, making this airport a great option for Tampa residents to fly into with fewer crowds and commotion. The Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is a whopping 17,000 acres, while DTX is just about 7,000.
Meanwhile, USA is just minutes from the Charlotte metropolitan area and Charlotte Motor Speedway. It’s a great alternative for Tampa residents to fly into if they want to escape the holiday crowds since Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is nearly 4,000 acres larger than USA.
Avelo Airlines is continuing to expand its routes within TPA — offering affordable and convenient travel options to airports both large and small. The airline has been flying at TPA since late 2021 and currently offers flights to three destinations — New Haven, CT, Wilmington, DE, and Wilmington, NC, with the addition of these two cities later this year.
So, if you’re looking for a more affordable solution to your travels this holiday season, this is a great alternative to the larger airports. We’re always on the lookout for the best deals for your next vacation, so stay tuned to DFB for more!
