Released in 1990, this wildly underrated Disney adventure gave us Bernard, Miss Bianca, Jake, Cody, Marahute, Wilbur, and one deeply misunderstood goanna (Nope, that’s not a typo. A goanna is a species of lizard found in Australia) with a dangerous appetite for eggs. Yes, we are talking about Joanna.

Joanna has spent decades being treated like a villain when she was clearly an overworked assistant trapped in a toxic workplace with inadequate snacks. She does not get nearly enough Disney merchandise, and we have questions for the people in charge. Joanna may still be waiting for her solo collection, but this is progress.
