Get Ready! Disney Just Announced ‘Zootopia 3’

Y’all…Disney had made a TON of announcements about upcoming movies and TV shows at the Disney Entertainment panel at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event…seriously, we haven’t had a moment to breathe, but it’s all so exciting.

Well, we’re not done yet because Disney also just announced Zootopia 3! It looks like some of your favorite animal characters are coming back for another adventure!

Disney revealed that the bunny, aka Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) and the snake, Gary De’Snake (Ke Huy Quan) will return in Zootopia 3. And according to the tease, “they’ve got some feathery fliers” coming along for the ride. Okay, now that sounds like fun!

The first Zootopia film dropped in theaters in 2016 and starred Goodwin and Jason Bateman as Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde respectively. It introduced a city called Zootopia, where all kinds of animals come together to live and work in harmony. The film was a hit with audiences and critics alike.

Zootopia 2 released to theaters in 2025 and introduced the character of Gary De’Snake. That film also did well and grossed $1.87 billion worldwide, becoming the second-highest grossing animated film of all time. So it’s no wonder Disney decided to give us another Zootopia sequel.
