As Walt Disney once said, “Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world.” The same goes for Disney World, as a lot of changes are about to be coming across all the parks.
D23 happened last month and we got so many new and exciting announcements! Unfortunately, these exciting announcements also mean that existing parts of the parks will close to make way for these new offerings. While change can be scary, and we are sad to see these parts of the park go, we are looking forward to what is to come in the future. There are currently five permanent closures on the horizon at Disney World.
It has been a weekend for the books at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event!
One of the most anticipated events of the weekend was the Horizons: Disney Experiences Panel. This panel was focused on the parks, resorts, cruises, and more. In this panel, Disney usually shares a lot about their upcoming plans, and Disney did not hold back on the announcements this year.
D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is really hitting us with all the big news today, and we can’t get enough of it!
We’ve been hearing tons of news about what Disney has coming down the pipeline for entertainment, the Disney parks around the world, and so much more. And the weekend isn’t even close to being over! About a year ago, it was mentioned that with the re-theme of DinoLand, U.S.A. into The Tropical Americas, the show housed inside the Tree of Life in Animal Kingdom, It’s Tough to Be A Bug, would also be re-themed to a Zootopia show. It’s been radio silence since then, but we FINALLY have news to share!
Are you ready for MORE Disney entertainment news?!
Disney is dropping HUGE show, movie, and entertainment news at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. We’ve heard about a new Inside Out-inspired series coming to Disney+, a new Toy Story sequel, the third Avatar movie, and many more projects! Now, news of another sequel has just dropped, and we can’t wait to visit our favorite animal city once again.
Pretty sure y’all have been waiting for this one…because I definitely have!! You might discount Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but I am here to tell you that YOU SHOULD NOT. This park is magical, y’all, and I’m going to prove it to you today!
I’ve always known that Disney’s Animal Kingdom is amazing, stupendous, incredible, insert-other-great-adjectives here. But now, I wanna make sure YOU know it, too! While many folks tend to write this park off as a half-day-er (which can be understandable, since it has fewer attractions than its three older sibling parks), you can EASILY fill a full day here, just by tracking down the AWESOME things we’re gonna talk about today!

We think we could all use a Disney Cruise Line vacation right about now!
Disney Cruise Line currently operates five cruise ships, with three more already announced to be on the way. While they have some pretty amazing ships already in their fleet, we are getting excited for the Disney Treasure to join the fleet later this year.
Okay, so who is SO ready to go on a cruise on the Disney Treasure?
Disney Cruise Line has really gone out with this new ship, which will include a Haunted Mansion-themed bar, a Coco restaurant, a Jungle Cruise-inspired lounge, and so much more. The Disney Treasure will also feature a sweets shop called Jumbeaux’s Sweets inspired by Zootopia, and we now have a first look at that sweets shop.
A form of Disney World transportation just got an adorable new makeover!
We visit Disney World every day and when we see something new we’re super excited to share it! From new construction details to the return of a tasty treat, something new is happening at Disney World all the time. Recently, we saw the rollout of a new transportation design, and Pixar fans, especially, should get a kick out of it!
It’s a very busy season for the international Disney parks!
Last year, Hong Kong Disneyland got a brand-new Frozen-themed land, and in June 2024, Tokyo DisneySea is getting the highly-anticipated Fantasy Springs expansion. Shanghai Disney Resort got a new Zootopia land in 2023 as well, but now, the resort is getting even more additions!
