Did you know there’s a new luxury theme park coming to Mexico? If you didn’t, now you do, and we’re getting very close to opening day!

We’ve known for a while now that it’s set to open in 2026, but an opening date has yet to be announced. We also now know when nearby resort guests will be able to preview the new park. If you didn’t already have a trip planned for late October, now you do — Mexico, here we come!

BON Luxury Theme Park will have a preview date for guests on October 24th. The general public won’t be allowed in; only guests staying at the resort will be, making it quite the exclusive experience. The theme park is located at Vidanta Vallarta-Nuevo Nayarit and promises to offer five immersive lands, fourteen attractions (with more on the way), numerous dining options, and a nightly show of dancing lights and fountains at The Crater.

The website lists this period as an “extended period of exclusive access” for hotel guests, which sounds like previews will begin on October 24th, but then will continue for additional days that the website doesn’t explicitly list. We’ll be keeping a close eye on all the latest news, though, because with a Fall 2026 opening timeline, we’re expecting more news pretty soon.

Some of the rides we know to be coming soon to the theme park are:

• Floresta Drop: family-friendly thrill ride where you plunge from above on petal-topped drop towers
• Vista Wheel: Choose between a calm, scenic experience or something a bit more thrilling, with your choice of stationary or moving cabins on this fun twist on a classic.
• SkyDream Parks Gondola: Soar above the park in your private airborne gondola, and take in breathtaking views while enjoying a serene and scenic adventure in the sky.
• Carousel of Colors: An iconic carousel featuring alebrijes arranged in a vibrant color wheel. Choose the magical creature that speaks most to you and let your heart guide the ride.
• Tempest Towers: Sail to daring heights and feel the thrill as two drop towers plunge you into a swashbuckling adventure where the sea meets the sky.
• Izari’s Flight: A magical family-friendly coaster where you soar through a crystal cave and experience the thrill as you see things from this magical iguana’s point of view.
• Delia’s Adventure: A whimsical ride that tells the tale of a spirited girl on a mission to save the Firefly Festival.
• Toca Tambo Falls: Drum in harmony with your team to race ahead in this competitive aquatic adventure. Can you keep the beat and conquer the waves?
• Speed of Light: A suspended coaster guiding you through a jungle adventure, illuminated by beaming lights. Soar through the jungle and embrace the exhilaration and visual splendor of the natural surroundings.
• Ashara: Goddess of Fire: Your temple journey ignites a legendary adventure as you experience twists, turns, and the power of the jungle Goddess.
