You can now pick a character icon for your Universal profile! You can choose characters from Nintendo, Harry Potter, and How to Train Your Dragon.

If this sounds a little bit familiar, it’s because Disney World recently added more characters. While this is the first time we’ve been able to pick characters for Universal, we’ve been doing it for a long time at Disney World, and we still get excited when there are new characters to check out.

Disney World’s biggest app change lately has been adding artificial intelligence. Disney’s AI planning system is starting to roll out to users, and it’s drawn negative reviews from guests. Many feel AI isn’t needed in the app, and they prefer booking with their favorite travel agents.

The system can give you helpful tips and recommendations based on your preferences. For example, if you had a kiddo who loves The Lion King and is celebrating their birthday, the program might suggest staying in the Lion King rooms at the Art of Animation.
