Hello from another week in Disney World! 👋
Some things around Disney are starting to look more like how we remember them from before the parks closed. It’s not the first time we’ve seen changes made to some of Disney’s policies since the reopening. Little by little, things have started to go back to “normal.” Some restaurants and resorts have reopened, Park Hopping has returned, and some character dining has even come back. And recently, we spotted some BIG changes in Disney World that show even more things are returning to some semblance of pre-pandemic “normalcy.”
Can you believe that spring is finally here? It’s time to celebrate with a new recipe from Disney Family!
We have the secrets to a Rapunzel-themed treat that is easy yet looks beautiful. Disney Family shared this cheery recipe whose golden-sun color and bright flowers will bring some fresh spring spirit to your day.
The Disney World theme parks reopen THIS WEEK and select Disney World hotels have been opened since June 22nd, with more reopening over the next few months.
As part of its reopening, Disney has implemented a number of health and safety measures based on guidance from various governmental authorities and health agencies. You can check out the full list reopening procedures here.
Our friends at Small World Vacations have been working tirelessly to help their guests prepare for their Disney vacations and keep them up-to-date on the changes at Walt Disney World, and today they’re sharing what you need to know when planning your Disney World vacation.

Here are five Walt Disney World experiences you’ll regret not trying.
You KNOW we’ve been eating our way around Disney Springs since it reopened on May 20th.
So far, we’ve eaten at Terralina Crafted Italian, D-Luxe Burger, T-Rex, Pizza Ponte, and many, many more table service and quick service restaurants. And, it’s another day, so it’s time for another Disney Springs meal! This time, we checked out the recently reopened Paddlefish to see how this seafood and steak spot is handling health and safety measures, and of course, to see how good the food is!
If you’ve spent any amount of time strolling around EPCOT’s World Showcase (perhaps while visiting one of the park’s Festivals presented throughout the year), then you likely have fond memories of listening to Mariachi Cobre perform in the Mexico pavilion.
Today, Disney presents the group as part of the #VoicesFromHome series with a special performance — from their homes to yours! — of “Cielito Lindo.” [Read more…]
An update to the Disneyland Paris website reveals additional information regarding the upcoming Disney’s Hotel New York — The Art of Marvel.

We were thrilled to share the news that Shanghai Disneyland will reopen on May 11th! And while that is indeed exciting, it remains true that other Disney Parks and destinations around the world remain closed until further notice due to the current global health situation.
However, we are starting to learn more about what the guest experience may look like in the Disney parks, thanks to a message from Disney regarding measures currently under consideration for a reopening that is safe for both guests and cast members. As we explore what the “new normal” might include, we’re turning our attention to one Florida location that will be reopening later this month: the Florida Aquarium in Tampa. [Read more…]
