Include Caravan Road in your itinerary if…
You want a unique, boozy snack. You can get Kakigori in EPCOT, but other than that, icy and alcoholic treats are fairly rare! Get shaved ice flavors with vodka or coconut rum, depending on the flavor.
It’s a hot day. Now, that’s basically every day in Florida, but hey — the winter gets semi-cold! The point is, if you’re overheated and want a refreshing snack, this should be on your must-stop list.
You’re on a budget. The menu here is super budget-friendly and shareable. Less money spent here = even more delicious snacks around Animal Kingdom!
Skip Caravan Road if…
You want more than a sweet treat. Caravan Road used to serve savory items, but that is no longer the case! Shaved ice is the name of the game here, but they do it well.
You want the BEST dessert in Animal Kingdom. Although these are delicious, this is not our #1 dessert in the park. If we could only pick one or two, we’d have to go with a specialty DOLE Whip at Tamu Tamu Refreshments or the Mini Mango Pie at Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe!
You don’t like sweet alcoholic drinks. Head to one of the bars around the park for something less sweet! Each shaved ice item includes sweet syrup with the alcohol, so although it is a crowd-pleaser, it’s not for everyone.
