Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya is a table-service restaurant featuring festive dining.

The menu showcases Japanese dishes such as sushi and teppan items, plus an open sushi bar and grill. Not only that, but enjoy Japanese Izakaya, a type of casual pub-style restaurant that puts an emphasis on drinks and conversations with friends.
Izakaya menus typically feature small dishes. During the meal, a cultural representative will guide you through the seasonal experience.
The restaurant is located in the Japan Pavilion, on the second floor — above the Mitsukoshi Department Store (in the location of the former Tokyo Dining restaurant), providing views of World Showcase and — when the timing is right — fireworks!

The menu also showcases seasonal plants on the cover — cherry blossoms for Spring, wisteria for Summer, ginkgo and autumn leaves for Fall, and camellia for Winter.

Visit this Japanese restaurant if…
You’re looking for an exciting atmosphere with incredible eats. This is a festive dining experience.
You’re dining with a group that has a lot of different preferences. While Shiki-Sai has stellar sushi, the menu is focused on small plates with plenty of Japanese dishes.
You want to experience traditional Japanese cuisine with some killer views. Since Shiki-Sai is on the second floor of the Mitsukoshi department store, it offers some great views of the World Showcase Lagoon.
Skip this eatery if…
You have picky eaters in your group. While there is a TON of variety on the menu here, it’s pretty much all traditional Japanese fare, which can be intimidating for some people. Since these are primarily small plates, though, it’s a great option if you’re looking to expand your horizons without ordering a whole entree!
You want to dine somewhere quiet with a relaxed atmosphere. It can get rather loud since it shares its space with Teppan Edo, the hibachi restaurant in the Japan Pavilion.
You’re looking for a hearty meal. You won’t find anything too filling unless you order a ton of sushi and small plates, of course!
