We’re constantly searching for tips, tricks, and fixes to help some of the most common problems we face when visiting Disney World. So when we ran across these contraptions, we have to admit, we knew we had to put them to the ultimate test!
When we visit Disney World, it’s easy to become overwhelmed by the crowds, wait times, prices, and amount of walking you’ll have to do. However, while those variables can change, one obstacle remains a constant: the sun.

Sunxiety, or the fear of the sun or damage from the sun, is absolutely a real thing. Plenty of folks feel obligated to completely cover up when outdoors or avoid the outdoors altogether. We get it. Our reporters visit the Disney World parks every day and with that have come some gnarly burns on occasion and the fear of skin damage. As we learn more and more about both the positive and harmful effects of prolonged sunlight exposure, we’ve become more mindful of how we prepare for park days.

Summer is officially winding down (well, the concept of summer — it’s still warm in Florida), and fall is right around the corner.

Of course, we’re already celebrating fall here at DFB — that comes with the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom. We sure do! We love seeing if we can spot some Disney essentials, like things we need to pack for our Disney trips (and let’s face it — those Aldi prices are NICE). We also love finding Disney souvenirs at Aldi, especially when we need to find gifts for the Disney lovers in our lives. So another week has passed, and now we’ve got a new look at what Aldi will have next week!

Florida is certainly known for it’s rainy afternoons, especially in the summer time. But you can run into rain any time of the year at Disney World. That’s why we recommend bringing rain gear with you to the parks so you’re prepared if (or when) it begins to downpour on you. Umbrellas are great, but we found a rain poncho that we would totally buy again!
