One thing we always stress is how important it is to stay hydrated — it gets hot and humid in Florida, and summer is NO JOKE. That’s why we recommend keeping a water bottle handy (which you can refill throughout the parks at water bottle refill stations). When you’re walking miles and miles through the Disney parks, especially when it’s humid and hot as it typically is in Florida. Luckily, there are plenty of ways to ensure you’re drinking enough water in the parks. But there’s one annoyance we are expecting to see more of in Disney World as it starts warming up.
One of the best pieces of advice — and the piece of advice we probably give the most often — is that you need to stay hydrated when you visit Disney World.
Don’t forget your water bottle!
Although this is true anytime you go to Disney World, it’s especially true in the summer, when the heat and humidity can seriously wear you down. That’s why we always recommend bringing a good water bottle to the parks and filling it up every chance you get, either by grabbing free water from counter service locations or using the water bottle refill stations you’ll find scattered throughout the parks. We’re always reminding folks to stay hydrated during their Disney World vacation, and one of the best ways to do that is to bring your own water bottle to fill up at the various bottle refill stations throughout the parks. A great bottle to bring is Stanley’s H2.0 FlowState tumbler, and now there are NEW colors available online!
Have you ever made a wish? It could have been on a star, from a fairy godmother, a genie, or maybe any other wish-making object or being.
Cinderella Castle
Disney World is the perfect place to make your wishes and to have them come true. There is the wishing well near Cinderella Castle, which is a great spot to make your wish, but there is also a little shop on Main Street, U.S.A. where you can make any wish your heart desires. Now that shop has new wish-keeping vessels that are magical, adorable, and a bit impractical.
Take a look at this picture. You know as well as us that a cold bottle of water looks pretty tempting on a hot day. But after about ten minutes under the Florida sun, that plastic bottle of water isn’t so cool. Not to mention that over $3 for one bottle of water isn’t exactly a bargain price.
Water in the parks
