When the Walt Disney World theme parks reopened to guests in July 2020, a new theme park reservation system debuted along with the reopening: the Disney Park Pass System. Guests are currently required to make a reservation in advance to any of the four parks — Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios — in order to gain entry.
One key tip…
One key tip to know is that holders of three ticket varieties — all Annual Passholders, Disney World Resort hotel guests, and general ticket holders — are able to view availability on the Walt Disney World website for the various theme parks prior to purchasing a ticket or attempting to book a reservation. Availability is viewable by the type of ticket guests hold.

What we’ve discovered…
What we have discovered, however, is that availability is quite subject to change! While availability for a certain park — or even up to all four parks — may dwindle quickly (especially for weekends or in-demand dates like holidays), at times Disney has also replenished availability for parks on select date ranges as well.
At the DFB, we have been monitoring Disney World Park Pass availability since the reopening of the theme parks and providing our readers with the latest information and updates.
