Walt Disney World offers three Resort hotel levels: Value, Moderate, and Deluxe. Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is a Moderate Resort.

Coronado Springs hosts a Convention Center, so fellow guests may likely be convention guests in addition to vacation guests.

Atmosphere

Gran Destino Tower feels like you’re staying at a deluxe resort for a more moderate price point. It’s just so…ARTISTIC and ELEGANT and DRIPPING with those classic Mexican, Spanish, and Southwest American influences.

If you’re not staying in Gran Destino Tower — and you’re staying in one of the classic Coronado Springs rooms instead — this resort is super spread out, so you may have to walk a good distance to reach all those main hotel amenities and offerings.

This is one of those resorts that’s grand and beautiful.

Dining

Coronado Springs dining boasts a plethora of options. You’ve got standard quick-service, but you’ve also got some great bars and lounges, as well as table-service restaurants.

All in all, whether you’re looking for a quick snack poolside or a swanky rooftop dinner, Coronado Springs Resort has you covered! And, the fact that several of these spots are still fairly under-the-radar is an added bonus.

Counter Service Dining

Cafe Rix offers mostly grab-and-go items. This spot serves specialty coffee, quick breakfast items, pizza for lunch, and more.

Typically, Cafe Rix is open for breakfast and lunch.

This food court offers a wide variety of choices, which makes this a solid option if your family can’t agree on what sounds good!

Table Service Dining

Maya Grill is a Table Service dining option that celebrates “Nuevo Latino” cuisine. There are a variety of Starters to choose from, including House Guacamole, Tortilla Soup, Chips and Salsa, Salads, and more.

The Entrees are pretty standard for a Mexican restaurant, like Tacos, Fajitas, and Enchiladas. There is a selection of Sides.

You’ll also find some Wines, Beers, and Cocktails, including Margaritas, as well as several Dessert options, including Coffee Cheese Flan, Fried Churros, and Chocolate Lava Cake.

Maya Grill is themed to the four sacred Mayan temples: the temple of the moon, the temple of the sun, the temple of water, and the temple of fire.

Rix Sports Bar & Grill has Chicken and Waffles we have never, ever stopped talking about.

As the name suggests, this restaurant is your go-to place for pub-style food.

It also features over 30 (!!) TVs, so it’s a great place to head if there’s a game you gotta catch while you’re on vacation! We won’t judge you for skipping the Disney Parks and enjoying some grub while you watch Sunday football!

When we’re talkin’ about Three Bridges Bar and Grill, we have to start by giving a shout-out to the AWESOME location. It’s located out on the water of Lago Dorado, so your meal will come with a nice side of gorgeous lakeside views of the resort. And, you won’t have to get all dressed up to visit — Three Bridges is more of a casual restaurant with a laid-back vibe.

They also serve up some REALLY tasty food, specializing in upscale Spanish-inspired bar food and cocktails.

This is a great place to head for a late-night bite or cocktail. But it does tend to get crowded during mealtimes

If you’re looking for an upscale, impress-your-significant-other meal, Toledo — Tapas, Steak & Seafood is a great option!

When it comes to the food, Toledo specializes in Spanish-inspired cuisine and offers a large selection of Spanish wines for pairing.

This restaurant is located on the rooftop of Gran Destino Tower, which means that it offers some GORGEOUS views. This spot is still a relatively hidden gem, so you might find it easier to snag a reservation

Bar and Lounge

Barcelona Lounge is a stunner of a space, located on the lobby level of Gran Destino Tower.

It serves as an espresso bar by day, and a gin bar by night (though other spirits and wines are also on offer).

Dahlia Lounge is also located atop Gran Destino Tower. You’ll get plenty of great views.

There’s even some outdoor seating where you can enjoy some tapas, craft cocktails, and Spanish wines.

In the Dig Site pool area, Siestas Cantina serves up drinks and a fairly robust food menu for a pool bar…

…or, if you prefer to sip your cocktail lakeside, Laguna Bar is located right by Lago Dorado.

By far and away, Coronado Springs has the BEST dining options across the moderate resorts. With multiple lounges, a rooftop restaurant, a sports bar, a table service option on the lake, a food court, and more — all your dining needs will more than likely be satisfied throughout your vacation.

Shopping

Panchito’s has a selection of Walt Disney World merchandise, Coronado Springs souvenirs, personal sundries, and grocery items.

This store is named after the Mexican parrot in the Three Caballeros.

Guest Rooms

Coronado Springs has two accommodation options, the Village buildings, situated around Lago Dorado (lake), and the Gran Destino Tower.

Gran Destino Tower

With the opening of the Gran Destino Tower, 545 rooms were added to the Coronado Springs portfolio.

Tower accommodations have a choice of resort or water view. The Tower Room with Resort View has a view of the courtyard, landscaping, or parking lots with two queen beds. It’s designed to sleep up to four adults.

This room looks pretty bougie with elegant and understated decor, and it’s obvious that these rooms were designed with business travelers in mind.

Your full options at Gran Destino Tower include:

• Resort View with 2 queen beds (sleeps 4 adults) or 1 king bed (2 adults)
• Water View with 2 queen beds (sleeps 4 adults) or 1 king bed (2 adults)

Coronado is also the ONLY moderate resort with club-level room options, which are usually strictly reserved for deluxe hotels.

Plus, club access rooms with:

• Resort View with 2 queen beds (sleeps 4 adults) or 1 king bed (2 adults)
• Deluxe Suite or 1 bedroom suite with 1 King Bed and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa (sleeps 4 adults)

So if you’re looking for a stay that’s a little different — and feels more upscale — than Disney’s other moderate resorts, you might want to consider booking a Tower Room at Coronado Springs.

Colors of Coronado Painting takes place every Friday afternoon at Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood. Create your own artwork!

Spanish Mosaic Art takes place at Dahlia Lounge on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday afternoons. Create a colorful mosaic!

Convention Center

From August 10th, 2026 to late September 2027, the Convention Center at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort will undergo a planned refurbishment.

The El Centro Corridor and surrounding areas will also undergo a refurbishment.

Gran Destino Tower also has conference facilities.

There’s even a show kitchen!

There are so many ways to relax at Coronado Springs. So whether you are here on business or vacation, you’ve got options for resort fun!

Recreation

Coronado Springs offers the Dig Site pool complex featuring The Lost City of Cibola pool!

A 50-foot pyramid is the centerpiece of this Mayan ruins-themed area, which is complete with a 123-foot-long waterslide. Additional features include a kiddie pool and a sand volleyball court for some extra fun in the sun.

And the Dig Site offers guests the chance to unwind in the largest whirlpool spa in Disney World!

For more recreation, a Jogging Trail and arcade are available, and kiddos can enjoy the playground.

Coronado Springs Resort was the only Moderate Resort at Walt Disney World with a fitness center, and now, it has two! The original is called La Vida Health Club, and it’s located near the Casitas Village Pool across Lago Dorado from Gran Destino Tower. Gran Destino’s Fitness Center is located inside the tower on the lower level, and it’s FANCY SCHMANCY.

The Front Desk will provide you with information about current Resort Activities, which may include options like Movies Under the Stars, Evening Campfires, Pool Parties, and additional activities (with some available for a nominal fee) such as Arts and Crafts that you can take home.

Three Bridges is the home of Sangria University! So if you’re looking for a unique, adult-centric (but still kid-friendly) experience to learn the background of this iconic drink and take a stab at making your own personalized creation, you’ll want to check it out!

You will also see signs alerting you to the day’s and week’s activities around the Resort so you don’t miss any of the fun!

Additional amenities for Resort guests also include complimentary Wi-Fi, currency exchange, self-service laundry rooms, mail services, and online check-in.

Guests staying at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort have access to ADDITIONAL hours in the Disney World theme parks! Early Theme Park Entry allows guests to enter any of the parks 30 minutes early to get a head start on their park day.

Transportation

Guests also have complimentary access to Disney Bus Transportation to and from all four theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs.

However, there’s an internal bus loop — something you’ll have to navigate daily to get to all four parks PLUS the Disney Springs shopping district.
