Contempo Cafe has a diverse counter service menu, including deli sandwiches with gourmet toppings, fresh salads, flatbreads, vegetarian items, sauteed and baked selections during dinner hours. If you’re dining during lunch hours, the Contempo Cafe offers salads that are “tossed to order” with fresh ingredients like zucchini, squash, eggplant, goat cheese, and vine-ripened tomatoes. Classic Caesar and chopped salads are also available. If you’re looking for something more hearty, there are deli selections featured: the spice-crusted mahi sandwich topped with citrus-apple slaw and the honey lime chicken sandwich with pepper jack and ranch dressing are popular choices. Classic counter service items like Angus beef burgers and pizza flatbreads are available, as are standard children’s menu offering chicken nuggets and turkey sandwiches. During dinner hours, the Cafe also offers several sauteed pasta dishes and a vegetarian bake. For breakfast, the menu spotlights french toast, waffles, a breakfast burrito, and breakfast platters. There are number of “Grab & Go” items available at this location as well.

Important Info:
- Comtempo Cafe is a good alternative to eating counter service in the Magic Kingdom, especially if you want a break from the crowds on a busy attendance day. A short ride on the resort monorail will bring you directly to the Contemporary Resort where the Cafe is located.
- Be sure to check out the cupcakes; available in caramel dos leches, Black Forest, or pina colada. They are over-sized, delicious, and arguably the best on Walt Disney World property!
- There is no significant dividing wall between the Cafe’s seating area and the bustling Chef Mickey’s restaurant. If you are dining during peak meal hours be aware that it may get a bit noisy.
