Pixar Pier is a whole new land which will open at Disney California Adventure in Disneyland Resort on June 23, 2018!
Pixar Pier — the result of an entire transformation of Paradise Pier — will be made up of four new neighborhoods representing Pixar stories: Incredibles Park, Toy Story Boardwalk, and Inside Out Headquarters will each have their own themed neighborhood, and several Pixar stories will be represented in the fourth neighborhood, the Pixar Promenade, which will bring a new look to Mickey’s Fun Wheel, transforming it into the Pixar Pal-A-Round.

Pixar Pier Attractions and Games
The highlight of Incredibles Park will be the new Incredicoaster (transforming the former California Screamin’ attraction which closed on January 8th).
And Mickey’s Fun Wheel is being transformed into the Pixar Pal-A-Round, opening this summer on what will be the Pixar Promenade!
While Mickey’s mug will still be featured on the Paradise Bay side of the wheel, the gondolas will feature various pairs of Pixar pals.
A new family-friendly ride will open in the Inside Out Headquarters (opening season not yet announced).
And in 2019, guests can saddle up on Jessie’s Critter Carousel on the Toy Story Boardwalk!
Jessie’s critter pals from Toy Story 2 (you’ll remember them from “Woody’s Roundup”) will be featured on the carousel. These 56 friends will feature a turtle, snake, buzzard, ram, skunk, raccoon, and more (like two cozy logs that a family of owls calls their home).
The Games of the Boardwalk is also being re-themed with Pixar characters. Look for Heimlich’s Candy Corn Toss, Wall-E Space Race, La Luna Star Catcher and Bullseye Stallion Stampede.
Pixar Pier Dining and Restaurants
Lamplight Lounge will open on June 23rd, along with Pixar Pier! This seaside lounge is taking the place of the fan favorite Cove Bar. But Cove Bar will certainly not be entirely forgotten, as the Lobster Nachos from Cove Bar will be featured on the menu!
The signature cocktails will be unique to the spot, with names reflecting the film industry and Pixar Film Studios.
The bar will boast, of course, beautiful waterfront views from upstairs (which will seat 220 guests). The downstairs (which will seat 261 guests) will serve full-size entrees, while more shareable options will set the culinary scene upstairs.
And the outdoor seating will offer awesome views of the new Pixar Pier at night, as well as the World of Color spectacular.
The space will reflect the “creativity, inspirations and personalities of the artists and storytellers who have brought Pixar stories to life.” Look for artistic marks left by the Pixar “regulars” throughout the space, such as concept art, sketched-upon napkins, collectable toys of Pixar characters, and more.
Inspired by Pixar’s short, “Toy Story Toon: Small Fry,” the Poultry Palace “building” will be a giant fun meal.
Senor Buzz Churros
Buzz Lightyear will switch into Spanish mode when he starts serving up Churros at Señor Buzz Churros, also on Toy Story Boardwalk!
Anger from Inside Out will be spotted at this kiosk on the Pixar Promenade which will serve up hot items such as — what else? — hot dogs at Angry Dogs!
But watch out — he’ll turn up the heat on those dogs the angrier he gets!
Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats
The old Paradise Pier Ice Cream Co. has already re-opened as Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats and offer icy, sweet treats once again…but this time there is a signature soft-serve item on the menu, which is basically Lemon Dole Whip!
Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums
The former California Screamin’ photo kiosk is turning into an IncrediCoaster snack spot. Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums will serve up HUGE warm, brown butter chocolate chip cookies.
Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff Confectionery
What’s a pier without candy?!
Find it on Pixar Pier at Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff Confectionery, which will serve candy, bakery confections, and other standard Disney candy shop items along with some exclusive themed offerings, like Rainbow Unicorn Cotton Candy, and Memory Refresher frozen drinks! Bing Bong’s will open on Pixar Pier later in the summer of 2018.
