Pixar Pier is a whole new land which will open at Disney California Adventure in Disneyland Resort on June 23, 2018!
Pixar Pier — the result of an entire transformation of Paradise Pier — will be made up of four new neighborhoods representing Pixar stories: The Incredibles, Toy Story, and Inside Out will each have their own themed neighborhood, and several Pixar stories will be represented in the fourth neighborhood, which will bring a new look to Mickey’s Fun Wheel (each gondola will feature a different Pixar character).

There is so much fun in store with all our favorite Pixar pals!
Pixar Pier Attractions and Games
The highlight of The Incredibles neighborhood will be the new Incredicoaster (transforming the former California Screamin’ attraction which closed on January 8th).
A new family-friendly ride will open in the Inside Out neighborhood (opening season not yet announced).
And in 2019, guests can saddle up on Jessie’s Critter Carousel!
Jessie’s critter pals from Toy Story 2 (you’ll remember them from “Woody’s Roundup”) will be featured on the carousel. These 56 friends will feature a turtle, snake, buzzard, ram, skunk, raccoon, and more (like two cozy logs that a family of owls calls their home).
The Games of the Boardwalk is also being re-themed with Pixar characters.
Pixar Pier Dining and Restaurants
Lamplight Lounge will open on June 23rd, along with Pixar Pier! This seaside lounge is taking the place of the fan favorite Cove Bar. But Cove Bar will certainly not be entirely forgotten, as the Lobster Nachos from Cove Bar will be featured on the menu!
Once the new Lounge opens, the Lobster Nachos will be featured on the menu along with more California gastro-pub cuisine and signature cocktails unique to the spot. The bar will boast, of course, beautiful waterfront views from upstairs and downstairs.
And outdoor seating will offer awesome views of the new Pixar Pier at night, as well as the World of Color spectacular.
The space will reflect the “creativity, inspirations and personalities of the artists and storytellers who have brought Pixar stories to life.” Look for artistic marks left by the Pixar “regulars” throughout the space, such as concept art, sketched-upon napkins, collectable toys of Pixar characters, and more.
Ariel’s Grotto Transformed into Grill
An as-yet-unnamed grill restaurant will join the Lamplight Lounge, taking the place of what was formerly Ariel’s Grotto.
Inspired by Pixar’s short, “Toy Story Toon: Small Fry,” the Poultry Palace “building” will be a giant fun meal.
Senor Buzz Churros
Buzz Lightyear will switch into Spanish mode when he starts serving up Churros at Señor Buzz Churros!
Anger from Inside Out will be spotted at this kiosk which will serve up hot items such as — what else? — hot dogs at Angry Dogs!
But watch out — he’ll turn up the heat on those dogs the angrier he gets!
Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats
The old Paradise Pier Ice Cream Co. will re-open as Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats and offer icy, sweet treats once again…but this time there will be a signature soft-serve item on the menu, which is basically Lemon Dole Whip!
Look for this spot to open earlier than the rest of Pixar Pier — likely around May 1st.
Incredicoaster Snack Location
The former California Screamin’ photo kiosk is turning into an IncrediCoaster snack spot. So far, it looks like Jack-Jacks Cookie Num Nums will join the scene, and we’ll keep you posted as we learn more about the transformation of this area.
Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff Confectionery
What’s a pier without candy?!
Find it on Pixar Pier at Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff Confectionery, which will serve candy, slushies, and other standard Disney candy shop items along with some exclusive themed offerings.
