While it’s pretty obvious what’s on the menu from the name Springs’ Street Tacos, there’s actually more to it. In fact, our visit this week was to check out the new Bowls on the menu which are in keeping with one of the latest food trends in Disney World. [Read more…]
Just a few weeks ago we told you about the impending arrival of the 4 Rivers (4R) Cantina Barbacoa Food Truck in Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs. The excitement over this addition to the Marketplace neighborhood was palpable — especially once we got our hot little hands on the eats!
And now the 4R Cantina Barbacoa Food Truck has had its official ribbon cutting!
Disney Springs in Walt Disney World has a new food truck joining them later this month! And we’re pretty sure there’s going to be some excitement!
Local Orlando residents may be familiar with the latest food truck to call Disney Springs home. The new food truck is the newest concept for 4R Restaurant Group, home of the 4 Rivers Smokehouses. [Read more…]
While the Dia de Los Muertos celebration continues in Disneyland with the new Plaza de la Familia seasonal event, Disney World is gearing up for its own taste of the festival with the Disney Pixar’s ‘Coco’ Family Celebration coming to Disney Springs!
Starting Friday, October 27th, the Celebration — a “family friendly fiesta” — will run through November 26th. From 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm daily, Disney Springs guests will enjoy themed music, food, and decor inspired by the upcoming film, Coco. The movie will follow Coco and Hector on a journey through the Land of the Dead.
Just head to Exposition Park on the West Side of Disney Springs. Yep, that’s the home of the Disney Springs Food Trucks, and that’s where Springs’ Street Tacos Food Truck (formerly Namaste Cafe) will be serving Vanilla Flan along with their regular taco menu for the celebration. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings will also feature kid-specific activities like face-painting.
So get ready for the celebration if you’re heading to Disney Springs! And, no matter where you are, get ready for Coco when the film is released on November 22nd!
While the trucks sometimes change locations (for instance, Superstar Catering Food Truck is currently serving guests as the Centertown Food Truck at Caribbean Beach Resort as a temporary dining option), you’ll most often find three of the four trucks at their regular home in Exposition Park.
On June 2nd and 3rd, however, you’ll find Fantasy Fare and World Showcase of Flavors in Disney Springs West Side right by Cirque du Soleil and House of Blues. You see, they’ll need a little more room to host SIX more food trucks for the weekend for the Springs Street Eats Food Truck Rally! [Read more…]
There are so many amazing snacks to enjoy within the parks of Walt Disney World! We can all rattle them off — school bread in Epcot, killer mac and cheese in Animal Kingdom, cupcakes everywhere — and so on, and so on.
But what happens if you want to get some crazy good Disney treats — but you don’t have a park ticket? Maybe you’ve gotten to town late, and you don’t want to burn a park day. Or maybe you’re between renewal dates for your pass. Or maybe you’re just wondering about some great treats you haven’t tried yet.
We’re here to help! Because some of our all-time, must-have, super-crave-worthy treats can be found outside of the parks. How amazing is that? And if you love the great suggestions we’re sharing here, be sure to check out the 2018 DFB Guide to Walt Disney World Dining, Second Edition for even more great snacking tips!

Dole Whip (Outside of Magic Kingdom!)
Who doesn’t love Dole Whip? That’s right. Nobody. So we start with the Quintessential Disney Treat — and tell you where to get it outside of Magic Kingdom (and the other parks at which it’s lately started to appear).
Of course, one of your options is Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. [Read more…]
Editor’s Note: We’ve confirmed that all options — grab and go, the buffet, and the food truck options, are all considered to be quick service credits on the Disney Dining Plan.
Thanks to the huge brouhaha that it caused, most of us know that Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort at Walt Disney World is undergoing a massive renovation starting — well, now.
While the resort undergoes what is from all accounts going to be a gigantic, transformative makeover, dining options are obviously going to be impacted. In fact, Caribbean Beach Resort’s only bar, Banana Cabana, and its only sit-down restaurant, Shutters, are closing to make way for the overhaul.
Obviously, people still need to eat, though. So we’ve been monitoring the situation closely. As part of that, we’ve visited the resort a couple of times over the last two weeks to bring you descriptions and photos of everything, as the transitional plans shape up. [Read more…]
Hello! The subject of today’s DFB Video is one of my most favorite things to come out of Walt Disney World in recent history — the Chuck Wagon Fresh Fixin’s Food Truck at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground.
I seriously cannot get enough of this thing. I mean, the food is pretty great. We really enjoyed the interesting array of sandwiches here. Um, Tillamook Pork Belly Cheeseburger? YASSSS.
But the truck itself is styled after a camper, circa-1970s. And it’s AWESOME.
Hello, friends! Well, we’d be remiss if we didn’t start out this post by wishing THIS GUY a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
Mickey Mouse was presented to the world with the premiere of the animated short “Steamboat Willie” on November 18, 1928. And our favorite Mouse will be joining us all around the World today for our November edition of What’s New!

We’re back today with another fun stop in to the Disney Food Truck scene at Disney World’s (soon-to-be) Disney Springs!
Downtown Disney Food Trucks
Even with all the crazy happening in this corner of the World (and maybe because of it), the Food Trucks are going gangbusters.
But I found them right where I expected to the day we visited to check out some new eats. [Read more…]
