As the Christmas holiday gets closer, I wanted to share a few more of these delicious holiday treats from the Magic Kingdom with you!
And stay tuned…I’ll take you on a taste test of a holiday cupcake AND pumpkin fudge later this week! But first…
Erin Foster‘s reporting live from WDW with this photo of a Sleepy Hollow ice cream sandwich, complete with peppermint ice cream for the holidays!
And I found these delicious treats at the Main Street Bakery, the Confectionery, and Frontierland…

We just got back from Disney yesterday. I loved the peppermint fudge–it was yummy! The celebration fudge was not really our thing, but we did try it!
Not holiday but I went to Disney with the idea of trying as many cupcakes from Starring Rolls as I could. We had a butterfinger, a red velvet and the marble? The one where you cut it in half and looked like a Mickey head! 3 of us split the butterfinger, 2 of us got to the red velvet and left 1/3 of it and only I had the nerve to attempt the 3rd cupcake lol The red velvet wins that round–it was just that good!
Another winner was the caramel cupcake from the new caramel shop in Germany. OMG–it was delicious! I wouldn’t have had my mouth watering for these cupcakes if not for the DFB! In all honesty, my clothes were fitting tighter before the end of the trip!

Kris — Awesome!! I love every one of those cupcakes; I’m so glad you guys got the chance to try them! And trust me, I know ALL about clothes fitting tighter!

I had the celebration fudge about a week ago. I really liked it. It’s like s’mores, but with vanilla instead of chocolate, which I actually prefer. The sprinkles on top were a nice touch.
AJ says
Thanks for the comment John! I didn’t try the celebration fudge, so it’s good to have a review!

Oh Peppermint ice cream!! I think i’m going to go get some today at the store 😀
James (Disneynorth) says
Did someone say peppermint?!?!? Anything with peppermint is amazing. I must get to WDW during the holidays to try the ice cream sandwich and fudge…..
Unless someone wants to send me some… 🙂
AJ says
Griffin — Did you go get some?! Sounds refreshing, eh?
James — You must! Let me know when you’re going and I’ll stow away!

We didn’t know about the peppermint ice cream cookie sandwiches – boo!
However, we did try that celebration fudge – not for us. Maybe it was the batch we got, but it’s mouth feel was not pleasant. It seemed to coat the tongue, teeth and roof of our mouths with this slick, chalky coating. It wasn’t bad flavor-wise, but the texture was off.
Griffin says
Yes we got some, AJ! My wife doesn’t like it though 😛 More for me, lol.
Joe, that seems to happen with the vanilla fudge Disney makes. I’m not sure why, but it gives you that waxy feeling in your mouth. The other flavors don’t seem to do it though?

How can you afford to pay $4 for a simple baked good?
I haven’t been to Disney in 10 years and only live 2 hours away, simply because I refuse to pay the astronomically inflation admission prices
I can’t imagine why anyone would want to buy an overpriced cupcake as well!
