October 1, 2017 marks Epcot’s 35th Anniversary!
Epcot’s Spaceship Earth
If you’re joining the big party in Epcot, you may want to know where you can find a few treats to mark the occasion. Specialty Cupcakes will be offered beginning tomorrow, and if you’d like to try them all, you’ll need to stop at three different locations.
Fountain View will be serving up Spaceship Earth Cupcakes! This yellow cupcake has a strawberry pastry cream filling. The Spaceship Earth portion is a dome of cake covered in silver fondant.

Sunshine Seasons will offer the vanilla Flower Pot Cupcake in honor of The Land Pavilion, complete with peanut butter and jelly filling.

Your final stop is in World Showcase, where you’ll find the Viking Cupcake at Kringla Bakeri og Kafe. The vanilla cupcake with vanilla cream filling is topped with blue and white buttercream and red sprinkles to represent the Norwegian flag.

My husband and I will be at Epcot to celebrate the 35th anniversary of our first date on October 1, 1982. We didn’t even know about Epcot back then! Discovered this coincidence a few years ago.
One of each please! Actually, make that 2 of the Sunshine Seasons one. It’s both the prettiest and the tastiest-sounding IMO.

We were at Epcot on October 17 and tried to get all three cupcakes. We were able to get the cupcakes at Fountain View and Sunshine Seasons. But when we asked about the cupcake at Kringla Bakeri og Kafe, we were told that it was only for a limited time and they were not making them anymore. We were very disappointed.
