Pixar is firing on all cylinders on both coasts — at Pixar Pier and Pixar Fest in Disneyland Resort and with the impending grand opening of Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World! (We’ve had a blast there at the Media Preview today!) Even the Resorts in Walt Disney World are getting in on the action.
Remember that amazing Toy Story themed mousse brownie we highlighted a few days ago? That was the first of the most adorable set of Toy Story Goodies we’ve seen this side of Andy’s Backyard!
Enter Beach Club Marketplace and its completely adorable, utterly delicious, ridiculously awesome Toy Story Cookie Dough Cake Pops!!
Yup, you read that correctly: Cookie. Dough. Cake. Pops. And they are so good. First of all, we love the designs: the iconic cloud wallpaper (spot that Hidden Mickey!), the Pixar Ball, and Woody’s plaid shirt and sheriff’s badge!
Inside? Basically straight up cookie dough, complete with chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles. The consistency is similar to a regular cake pop, but the flavor is all cookie dough. Loving it!
And you’ve GOT to see the Barrel of Monkeys dessert to believe it…
You’ll find this one at Contemporary Resort’s Contempo Cafe! DFB Reader Krystle O. kindly sent us these awesome pics!!
It’s white chocolate covering a banana cake layered with banana cream… complete with candy MONKEYS!! (And it can be yours for $5.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit!)
Krystle shared, “It was great!! Tasted like banana pudding, with a little bit of frosting on the top. The white chocolate barrel was really sweet, but very good!” But know this: the Barrel of Monkeys is only available for four days (as of today — June 28th), so grab it quick, if you can!
We are beyond excited about Toy Story Land’s opening, and finding some sweet treats around the parks and resorts is part of the fun! And if they’re all as good as this cake pop and the Barrel of Monkeys? Pssh — sign us up for alllllllll of them!
Follow along with us as we explore Toy Story Land during a media preview event! Yeehaw, cowgirls and boys!
What’s your dream cake pop flavor and design? Daydream with us in the comments!

OH MY GOSH, I want them all!!!! That barrel of monkeys is really spectacular!
Is Slinky Dog Dash a family friendly ride or will it be too hard on young kids/those with motion sickness?
Brigitte, Slinky Dog Dash is billed as a family coaster, but there is a height requirement of 38 inches. AJ rode yesterday and reports in our Toy Story Land post: “Seriously, this is a great ride! It’s really fun — and packs a bit more of a thrill than I thought it would! So while it’s family-friendly, as they say, it’s not for the infant set.” You might want to take a look at a ride video (there are several posted online!) to see what you think!
