is home to classic American lunch and dinner favorites like a Club or Reuben sandwich. And don’t forget those all-you-can-drink Milkshakes of the Month (currently an Un-Birthday Celebration Spectacular), but now you’ll be able to add breakfast favorites to the list of items at the Plaza!
That’s right! Starting November 4 and running through early January 5th, you’ll be able to have a table-service breakfast on Main Street U.S.A. while looking at Cinderella Castle! [Editor’s Update: Breakfast at Plaza Restaurant has been extended, and bookings are currently available through March 2, 2019!]
Disney just announced the addition of breakfast at The Plaza, and Advance Dining Reservations are open now for breakfast, available from 8:00AM-10:30AM daily.
The full menu is not released, but from the announcement we know there will be a Classic All-American Breakfast with scrambled eggs with breakfast potatoes, sausage, bacon, a biscuit, and mini Mickey Waffles. There will also be a Lobster Benedict dish with crispy fried green tomatoes, buttery lobster, two poached eggs, topped with hollandaise sauce and house-made breakfast potatoes.
The kids will be happy with Mickey Waffles and Banana Cream!
You’ll also be able to create your own omelet with fresh ingredients including sausage, bacon, ham, onions, peppers, tomatoes, and cheese.
So, the big question. Is breakfast too early to have an All-American Sundae from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor or Milkshake of the Month from the Plaza Restaurant?
Are you ready to wake up for breakfast at The Plaza?

Essie says
It would be a nice start to the day. Good good in a pleasant place with a great view!
Rachael says
Do you have to have a reservation there to get the unbirthday shake?
Becky says
Booked it for 11/13. I was so excited to score this!
Starryyz says
Is there an advantage to getting an early breakfast reservation here in terms of getting into the park earlier to do more attractions?
Cheryl says
Would this location be considered pre-park dining? Or is this in the part of the park that the opening crowds gather and wait? Thanks!
Kelly says
YESSSSSS!!!!!!! Please dear Disney make this a forever thing.
DFB Sarah says
Cheryl, now that the welcome show is on the Cinderella Castle stage, pre-park dining isn’t as exclusive as it once was. The Plaza Restaurant may offer pre-park reservations, but there will likely be other guests in that area as well. (Though one might expect them to move closer to the castle and entrances to the lands.)
DFB Sarah says
Starryyz, an advantage could be had in that you wouldn’t be stuck in the park opening security lines if you were early enough… But with the welcome show on the castle stage, it may not be as exclusive as it could have been in the past.
DFB Sarah says
Rachael, you could ask for one at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, since they make the Restaurant ice cream desserts there. But there’s no guarantee. If you have to have one, you’ll want to try to get into the Restaurant to ensure you can get one.
Lori says
Why in the world would anyone use a table service credit on a breakfast you can get at ANY resort quick service. There should at least be characters.
Johnny castmember says
Rachel and Sarah, it is actually untrue that they make deserts in Plaza ice cream parlor and the restaurant makes deserts separately and the only way to get a unbirthday shake is with a reservation at the Plaza restaurant.
Megan says
I read that the Plaza is serving breakfast through January 5th only but I just made a breakfast reservation there for February 26 through the disney app- did they decide to extend or was this a mistake?
DFB Sarah says
Megan, it looks like they’ve extended the breakfast dates! Enjoy!
me, you says
We were able to book ADRs for Plaza breakfast the 2nd week of March 2019.
