What's New in Disney's Animal Kingdom: Menu and Merchandise Updates, PLUS DuckTales!

We stopped by Animal Kingdom this week to round up all the latest news for you! We found lots of menu updates and changes and some great new merchandise! So, let’s get to it…

Animal Kingdom Entrance

If you’re looking for that adorable Simba Cupcake while you’re in Animal Kingdom, your best bet is to head to Pizzafari since it is no longer in the Creature Comforts bakery case. We did spot the Caramel Mocha and the Lotus Blossom cupcake in the lineup though!

Creature Comforts Menu Updates

Both Tiffins and the neighboring Nomad Lounge had a few menu switcheroos for us.

Tiffins has added a Thai Curry Mussels appetizer and Butter Chicken entree, as well as, the option to substitute Wagyu for the Tamarind Braised Short Rib entree. The Chicken and Waffles have also been removed from the menu.

Nomad Lounge Menu Updates

Looking at the Nomad Lounge menu, we noticed that they have swapped back to the original Truffle Poutine. We LOVE poutine over at DFB so we were pretty pumped to see this. You can check out our review of the Truffle Poutine, back when it debuted in August 2018, over here!

We also had a menu swap over at Mr. Kamal’s in Asia with falafel being taken off the menu.

They have brought back those awesome Chicken Dumplings that were around for the Tasting Sampler at Christmas time — find out what we thought about them here!

You can now find the Toy Story Alien straw clip over at Mahindi, the popcorn stand near Tusker House. These little green men are popping up all over the park!

We first spotted them at The Feeding Ground on Discovery Island — turns out you can also get them at Flame Tree Barbeque.

Also in Africa, the Shave Ice Cart is around again!!

Shave Ice Cart is Back!

The cart has been missing for the past couple of weeks while the weather has been colder. With things warming back up we’re happy to see this frozen treat back! You can see a review of the Mango Shave Ice here!

Finally, over in Dinoland, we spotted a new Duck Tales shirt!

The shirt features Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewie, Louie and Webby Vanderquack in Scrooge’s Money Bin.
