It’s REALLY time to start planning your autumn trip to Walt Disney World now! Because not only have the dates been announced for the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival, but new menu items have been revealed for another favorite fall event — the 2019 Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic!
The 10th Annual Food and Wine Classic will take place on Friday, November 8, and Saturday, November 9, 2019. And the central attraction of the Classic is the more than 40 tasting stations featuring dishes from the resort’s 17 restaurants and lounges as well as more than 30 wineries on the Causeway. Check out the Menus page for an idea of what you can expect!
We’ve got a full rundown of the 2019 event from the original info release in February. But today, we’re sharing a few new items which have been added to the menus (which you can see in full here)!
New Menu Items
Please note: since the event takes place over two nights, menu selections differ on Friday and Saturday evening at the Tasting Stations.
While there is still more to see on our full menus page, among the new items on Friday evening, be on the lookout for the Barbacoa Beef Taco with ancho Chile braised beef, minced red onion, lime wedge, lime- cilantro and “chimichurri” sauce from Picabu, and a Vegetarian Rice Bowl with roasted vegetables, seasoned sushi rice, and tempura crunch from Cabana Bar and Beach Club.
And on Saturday, guests can look forward to Pan-seared Rock Fish with cotechino, toasted fregola, romanesco with Lambrusco from Todd English’s bluezoo and Vegan Pho with rice noodle, bok choy, carrot, bamboo shoot, hoisin and sriracha from Fresh among the new offerings.
Seared Salmon with caramelized cabbage, sauce soubise, chestnut gnocchi ossolani from Garden Grove and Organic Kabocha Squash Ravioli with pumpkin seed and sage gremolata, pumpkin crema and pecorino from Il Mulino will be among the Saturday evening offerings.
And save some room for Poutine (French fries and cheese curds topped with gravy) at the Beer Garden on both Friday and Saturday night!
Remember, all tickets include the Beer Garden for 2019!

Tickets
Tickets for one night of the Causeway only are $145 per person. This price includes the Beer Garden upgrade for the very first time!
A La Carte ticket booklets containing 25 tickets will be available for purchase at the event for $65. These tickets are perfect for those with a lighter appetite or for underage guests. Offerings range from two to six tickets per item.

Can you tell me if there are limited tickets to the causeway and if they normally sell out? We booked our Food and Wine Festival trip so that we can attend the Swan and Dolphin classic also and we’re trying to spread the cost of special events over a few months. I just don’t want to wait to purchase our causeway tickets to find they’re sold out. Thanks.
DFB Sarah says
Tricia, that’s a tough call. AJ tells me that she has seen them sell out, but it doesn’t commonly sell out. So there’s just no way to know if waiting will work or not. Sorry and good luck!
