Did you know Disney World has TWO food and wine festivals?! The EPCOT Food and Wine Festival is a very well-known and popular experience for foodies, families, tourists, and locals, but there is actually ANOTHER food and wine festival that is a little less known but just as exciting.

2024 Food and Wine Classic

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts host the annual Food & Wine Classic. This year, the event takes place on November 14th and 15th and will feature gourmet cuisine, fine wines, beers, and cocktails, and live entertainment, including seminars and fireworks! The Food & Wine Classic is a fun event that we love visiting every year. If you plan to go in 2025, here are two rules you’ll want to follow to make your time there even more memorable!

FIRST LOOK at the Brand-New Rooms at This Popular Disney World Hotel

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort is going through a transformation of its own — and part of it has officially been completed!

The Marriott-owned hotels previously announced a $275 million transformation featuring a new 120,000-square-foot event space expansion, along with upgrades to its existing space, and guest room renovations. We’ve been keeping an eye on construction at the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve, the new addition at the Swan and Dolphin Resort!

The Swan Reserve will have over 300 guest rooms, a signature restaurant and bar, a health club, a pool, and more. It was previously announced that the new addition would be opening in summer 2021, but now we have a more specific idea of when the Swan Reserve will first welcome guests — and a preview of the rooms!

It’s REALLY time to start planning your autumn trip to Walt Disney World now! Because not only have the dates been announced for the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival, but new menu items have been revealed for another favorite fall event — the 2019 Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic!

The 10th Annual Food and Wine Classic will take place on Friday, November 8, and Saturday, November 9, 2019. And the central attraction of the Classic is the more than 40 tasting stations featuring dishes from the resort’s 17 restaurants and lounges as well as more than 30 wineries on the Causeway. Changes Coming to the Swan’s Lobby as Swan and Dolphin Redesign Continues

Last fall, the Dolphin (of Walt Disney World’s Swan and Dolphin Hotel) revealed a brand new look for its lobby including a new lobby bar called Phins, a new grab ’n go market named Fuel, and more. And now, the Swan’s lobby is undergoing a renovation of its own.

The lobby and public spaces (like the front desk, rotunda, and lounging areas) will undergo part of the $3 million transformation. And the Swan’s coffee bar, Java Bar, will also receive a makeover as part of the redesign project. [Read more…]
