The opening of the new Mickey’s PhilharMagic attraction in Disney California Adventure is quickly approaching!
And today, Disney gave us a great reminder of that.
Cast Members at Disneyland Resort have been hard at work putting up Mickey’s PhilharMagic signs on the exterior of the attraction’s building.
These signs showcase a few iconic moments from the show, which features Donald going on a wild adventure through classic Disney film scenes as he tries to recover Mickey’s sorcerer hat.
We love this attraction over in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom and are really excited to see it making its debut in Disneyland. Because how could you not love Donald — occasional tantrums and all?
The 3-D feature lasts about 12 minutes and is filled with a few really fun surprises. And if it is anything like the PhilharMagic in Magic Kingdom (which it should be), then you’ll want to be on the lookout for Hidden Mickeys because there are SO MANY fun ones throughout the show.
This attraction can be easily compared to Muppet Vision 3-D in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and is a great spot for kiddos or for those who want to escape the sun for a little while… or just enjoy some extra Disney PhilharMAGIC!

Mickey’s PhilharMagic is set to open in April…so literally ANY MINUTE NOW at Disney Califonia Adventure’s Sunset Showcase Theatre in Hollywood Land. There is no word on if this is a limited-time attraction or if it will be sticking around for a while. But, if it is as popular as it is in Disney World, we are sure that Mickey’s PhilharMagic will find a home at Disney California Adventure for a good length of time!
Between this and the new limited-time Lion King Celebration that is also making its way to Disney California Adventure this summer, guests are sure to have a swinging good time!
