TODAY is the big day, the 30th Anniversary of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Amidst all the celebrations have come lots of news including the announcement of a NEW Toy Story Land Restaurant, a look BEHIND the walls at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and a ton of 30th Anniversary merchandise and treats.
Speaking of treats, we thought we’d kick off the BIG CELEBRATION by reviewing a few of the anniversary treats for you, starting with the 30th Anniversary Tres Leches Verrine.
The Tres Leches Verrine is just one of MANY snacks available to celebrate Hollywood Studios. Click here to view the full list of snack options!
The Tres Leches Verrine is available at Fairfax Fare. And, in fact, it has been for some time. But it’s been updated just a little bit for the 30th Anniversary.
The Tres Leches Verrine is topped with sliced strawberries and little candies. Our taste-tester enjoyed the strawberries more than the candies, but she did think the candies added a good texture! There’s also a little White Chocolate 30th Anniversary Logo on top to add a nice, sweet touch both visually and in taste.
Our taste-tester also felt like the snack was very RICH but enjoyable. And the inside is much like a regular tres leches made with cream and cake…though this seemed to be blended down to more of a parfait form making the texture really soft.
And this is just the first snack of many to come throughout the day, so stay tuned!
The 30th Anniversary Tres Leches Verrine is available for $4.99 (or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit) at Fairfax Fare.
