Hello from Hollywood Studios! We’re checking out what’s new at the park since last week’s 30th Anniversary Celebration and finding updates including lots of construction and refurbishment, the return of PizzeRizzo, and tons of new merchandise.

What’s New at Hollywood Studios’ Entrance

Work continues on the new structure near the current entrance and bag check area for the park.

We noticed some new directional signs and lighting behind the scrims as well as continued work on painting the structure.

No official announcements have been made about this project or the timeline.

We also spotted an uncovered Skyliner gondola! This will be fun to watch as they uncover more during testing!

We couldn’t help but notice Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow… which Disney characters would you like to see on a gondola cabin next?

They are still working on the Skyliner station here, preparing for the system to open this fall.

What’s New on Hollywood Studios’ Hollywood Boulevard

The Alien Sipper has “officially” been added to the menu replacing the BB-8 sipper at the refreshment stand at the entrance to the park. Watch out for “the claw”!

Refurbishment work continues on Keystone Clothiers, with new walls going up on the portion of the shop on the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Echo Lake.

What’s New on Hollywood Studios’ Sunset Boulevard

The Ice Cream Cart on the corner of Hollywood and Sunset Boulevards is now serving Cherry Slushies in addition to ice cream, drinks, and beer.

What’s New on Hollywood Studios’ Commissary Lane

The ABC Commissary is currently closed for refurbishment. While it is closed you can visit Backlot Express or the recently re-opened PizzeRizzo.

What’s New on Hollywood Studios’ Grand Avenue

PizzeRizzo, which switched to seasonal operations last year, is currently open

and serves as an alternative while ABC Commissary is closed for refurbishment.

What’s New at Hollywood Studios’ Popcorn Carts

The BB-8 sippers have been replaced with the Alien Sipper at all of the popcorn carts in the park in addition to the refreshment stand at the park entrance. But, we still found BB-8 sticking around in sipper form at Backlot Express.

What’s New in Hollywood Studios’ Shops and Stores — New Merchandise!

We found some new 30th Anniversary merchandise in the park in addition to the merchandise that was released last week. There are two new 30th Anniversary phone cases, and a new line of 30th Anniversary gift cards.

Let’s take a closer look at these gift cards — they are kind of reminiscent of the new logo for the park with characters popping out of the zero.

Which one will you pick?

This Slinky Dog is too fun in the updated retro packaging. If we buy this, we might not take it out of the awesome packaging!

We shared the Aladdin-inspired Alex and Ani charm bracelets with you yesterday, but we’ve already found another one! This one includes a Genie lamp charm.
