Huuurryyy baaackkk
… There’s more The Haunted Mansion-themed food in store for you guys!
The ghosts are welcoming you to their swingin’ wake with another delicious sandwich and dessert that will give you hot and cold running chills.
Check out the rest of The Haunted Mansion Anniversary eats and treats available in Disneyland!
Recently, we’ve tried The Caretaker sandwich over at the Hungry Bear Restaurant and the “Honey… I Do” Beignets at the Mint Julep Bar. Now, we’re taking a Doom Buggy ride over to the River Belle Terrace for more spooky snacks — you know our girl @DininginDisney was all over this one!
First on the menu, the Sliders Materialize have risen from the grave, served with deadly delicious seasoned fries.
The first slider is stacked with spicy pork belly, cabbage slaw, and a pomegranate vinaigrette on a toasted brioche bun. The sweetness of the pomegranate vinaigrette is a beautiful contrast to the spicy pork, tying the entire burger together.
The second is layered with savory pork belly, butter lettuce, cherry tomatoes, black pepper bacon mayo, and a crispy bacon “spike” on a toasted brioche bun. The black pepper bacon mayo is killer on this burger! The zesty flavor combines with the pork, vegetables, and bacon so well that we would have liked even more on the sandwich.
Ezra, Gus, and Phineas have found their way all over the park with the Hitchhiking Ghost Containers and Professor Phineas Plump’s Cure-All Fritters. We brought ’em with us to River Belle Terrace to take a pit stop with the “Hitchhiking” Ghost Blue Velvet Cake.
The blue velvet cake is topped with blueberry purée, rice croquette brittle, and a vanilla-blueberry crisp.
Soft, gooey, and INCREDIBLE! This cake has us seriously considering becoming the 1,000th happy haunt. The blueberry purée soaks into the blue velvet cake, making the dessert melt in your mouth with every bite. The rice croquette brittle and blueberry crisp add a little bit of crunch to the cake, and the whole blueberries on top provide an extra burst of flavor.
This is 100% worth making the res at River Belle, but be aware that your mouth will be blue the rest of the day!!
While you’re making your crypt crawl to all the restaurants offering The Haunted Mansion Anniversary menu items, be sure to stop at the River Belle Terrace for these sliders and cake!
