Disneyland Resort’s Red Car News Boys and Tale of the Lion King shows have now come to an end.
And according to the Orange County Register, a few more shows in Disneyland Resort will soon be on the chopping block as well.
While a bunch of additions like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and the Main Street Electrical Parade have recently made their way to the parks, Disney has been scaling back and ending a few of their live entertainment offerings. The Orange County Register suggests that this is likely thanks to the “3 percent decline in attendance at the Anaheim theme park.”
The Laughing Stock Company, which is a Wild West-themed comedy show that has taken place at the Golden Horseshoe Saloon for years, will make its final joke soon.
The seven-piece Pixarmonic Orchestra band, which plays songs from Pixar films on “unconventional instruments like kazoos” and duck calls will also take its final bow soon. This group began performing at Pixar Fest in 2018.
Both shows will have their final performances on September 15th. So, be sure to check them out before they’re gone! And be sure to check out all of the details about Disneyland’s newest parade coming in 2020!
