It’s a great big beautiful day and we’re spending it at Magic Kingdom!
Sure, there’s a bunch of exciting news coming out around Disney World today like details about Space 220 in Epcot or reports from inside Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway in Hollywood Studios, but there are some updates over at Magic Kingdom too! Check out everything that’s new in food, construction, and merchandise!
Magic Kingdom Food Updates
Main Street U.S.A.
Kicking off with those food updates, we caught wind of a new cold brew coming to Main Street Bakery so we popped in to check it out. To our dismay, they weren’t serving the Irish Cream Cold Brew yet because the ingredients hadn’t come in. Fear not, though, they’ll be pouring the new drink soon!
Over at Casey’s Corner, we’ve been keeping an eye out for the next hot dog of the month. Well, no dice yet! The Fried Pickle Dog and Fried Pickle Fries are still on the menu — which is fine with us.
AND there’s a new kind of cotton candy in Magic Kingdom, too! We spotted the Citrus Apple Cotton Candy at snack stands around the park! You can snag this green and white treat for $5.
Magic Kingdom Construction Updates
Of course, we’re checking in on the TRON Lightcycle Run construction. The building is really starting to come together, especially since they lowered that last piece of the track into place last week!
FINALLY! We can report on some completed construction! The Liberty Square Market seating area is complete and we love the finished look of the area.
Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates
Main Street U. S. A.
Now let’s check out that merchandise sceeeene! As you might know, One Day at Disney premiers on Disney+ today so it’s super fitting that the companion book has been released in parks! We spotted it at Main Street Cinema and Main Street Emporium. At the Cinema, they’d even set up a whole display with some awesome Disney books!
Here’s a glimpse inside One Day at Disney. It has specific Cast Member profiles and would tbh be perfect for any coffee table. Nab it for $50!
Yesterday, we spotted the Design By You Lab at Tomorrowland Light and Power Co. in Tomorrowland. Check out the new area where you can design your own t-shirt! Pricing ranges from $24.99 to $39.99.
Also at Tomorrowland Light and Power Co., we found a bunch of new-to-us phone case designs! There’s one warning to “Beware the pirate Redd…”
…a case featuring the too-cool-for-school Hipster Mickey…
…one with a super funky and tropical Mickey design…
…AND this super cute and classic Carousel Case! All four of these options are available for $29.99.
Or, if you’re into a cooler phone design, you can snag this Frozen Case with a 3-D effect for $34.99!
Over at Space Traders, we spotted these funky and iconic Adventureland Patches for $19.99. You can also find these at Main Street Emporium!
Dancing our way over to Fantasyland, we found a few new merch items at Big Top Souvenirs. Check out these Disney Parks Pez Dispensers! There’s a few Toy Story inspired ones with our fave Space Ranger…
…a cowboy who’s near and dear to our hearts…
…the cutest little green alien around…
…aaaand the twisty, turny Slinky Dog!
Or, rep some even more classic characters and get your Pez from your favorite mouse!
Don’t worry, there’s Minnie too! These dispensers cost $4.79. Cute!
Also at Big Top, we checked out some new pins to celebrate the new year. Bring in 2020 with Mickey in his Fantasia outfit!
Or, count it down with Mickey and Minnie at the castle!
If you’re feeling mischievous, make Stitch your turn-of-the-decade buddy.
Or, make some great New Years Resolutions with an awesome Wilderness Explorer. Pick your fave pin for $12.99!
If you’re not super into picking between characters, think about grabbing this pin for $14.99 with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy. Bonus: it spins!
And there you have it! That’s all the new stuff in Magic Kingdom. We will be back with more park updates soon, so be on the lookout!
