We live for the stuff that’s available over at Aloha Isle in Adventureland at Disney’s Magic Kingdom as well as now seemingly ALL over the World, including Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort (Hello there Dole Whip Lime Margarita!). Dole Whip has practically a cult following that has even inspired merchandise items.
Disney keeps us on our toes with exciting updates to the theme park staple. The sweet treat has materialized in various forms including spiked versions, self-serve, floats, and even specialty flavors, like in recent times with the Redd’s Revenge.

Well, hold the FOMOsa, because there’s a new kid on the block that debuted just yesterday in Magic Kingdom at Sunshine Tree Terrace.
Say hello to the I Lava You Float.

The newbie features Strawberry Fanta Soda, Orange Dole Whip, strawberry and red passion fruit syrup. It is then topped with strawberry popping candy. It seems to take its name after the “Lava” short by Pixar! AWWWW!!!

The base is comprised of a delicious Strawberry flavored Fanta Soda.

We’re big fans when Dole Whip is mixed with flavored syrup, like with the Simba’s Sunset Dole Whip. The Orange Dole Whip here mixes perfectly with the strawberry and red passion fruit syrup. The syrup acts as the ‘lava’ here and cascades down into the soda base.
