We had a wickedly good time at Disney Villians After Hours in 2019!
And now that this separately ticketed event is returning to the Magic Kingdom on select evenings starting February 7th, 2020, Disney’s shared some new details with us which include even more “villainous fun!”
So what’s in store for Villains After Hours in 2020? While the fire-breathing Maleficent Dragon (borrowed from the Festival of Fantasy parade for the wicked occasion!) will be returning, a new Villians Cursed Caravan will creep along behind it including Disney bad guys and gals Gaston, Oogie Boogie, Cruella DeVil, Captain Hook and more!
Meanwhile, Hades and Meg from Hercules will be reprising their roles in the castle stage for “Villians Unite the Night,” featuring cameo appearances by Jafar, The Queen, Dr. Facilier, and Maleficent!
Of course, there will be plenty of special photo opportunities as well a dance party in front of Cinderella Castle for you to get down with your bad self!
Villain-inspired overlays will be returning to Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain. There’s also typically much shorter wait times for popular attractions throughout the park due to the event’s limited capacity.
In addition to the all-you-can-eat FREE treats included in the cost of your Villains After Hours ticket (we’re talkin’ complimentary ice cream novelties, popcorn, and select bottled beverages!) there will be tons of evil-inspired party-exclusive beverages and eats available for purchase!

A few of the new treats you’ll see next year are Painting the Roses Red — a cheesecake mousse with raspberry gelée, red cocoa butter, and buttercream leaves! You’ll find this one at (of course!) Cheshire Café!
And get a load of this next one — Body Language! It’s inspired by the fabulously vile Sea Witch herself, Ursula! The treat consists of cookies and cream mousse with chocolate cake, glaçage, and meringue tentacles garnished with a chocolate shell. Grab one at Storybook Treats during Villains After Hours only!
Lastly, be sure to swing by Gaston’s Tavern for the Five Dozen Eggs Slush! It’s frozen custard with brown sugar topped with whipped cream and garnished with a cinnamon stick! We highly doubt it actually contains five dozen eggs (Gaston probably already ate them all!), but we LOVE the funny name!
And it wouldn’t be a Magic Kingdom party without exclusive MERCH! Here’s a sneak peek of some of the designs for 2020 Villains After Hours gear!
You can purchase tickets for Disney Villains After Hours in advance for $145 plus tax or $155 plus tax on the event night — so save $10 by buying ’em ahead of time! Plus you can get $30 off your ticket if you’re an Annual Passholder or Disney Vacation club member!
Who knows? You may even see some SUPER RARE characters! Just keep in mind there are no character greetings at this party! Check out the full list of Villains After Hours dates below:
