While Disney World is already buzzing about the new Spike the Bee Sipper coming to Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival this year, we recently discovered another special treat to “bee” excited about!
That’s right! We just spotted this adorable Bee Cupcake buzzing around the Animal Kingdom! While we already shared a sneak peek with ya, we needed to try this adorable cupcake out for ourselves.Â
Celebrating our yellow and black stripey friends, the new Bee Cupcake is an orange cake filled with honey-flavored custard topped with buttercream, white-chocolate honeycomb, and sugar bees!
Hey, it might not be springtime quite yet, but this cupcake is so cheery and BRIGHT, it definitely has us thinking about what types of flowers we’ll be planting in our gardens this year!
While the orange and honey flavors are sweet, neither are overly aggressive. In fact, both blended together perfectly for us in this delightful Bee Cupcake! Word of caution, though —Â maybe pick off the sugar bees unless you don’t mind the sugar BUZZ that’ll come after eating them!
The Bee Cupcake can currently “bee” found cross-pollinating at Dino Bites Snacks in Animal Kingdom for $5.99 or a snack credit if you’re on the Disney Dining Plan!
