Review: A Disney World Hidden Gem Can Be Found On The Boardwalk!

Whether you’re staying at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn or you’re just visiting Disney World, Disney’s BoardWalk can be a fantastic spot to stroll and snack!

And, we’re taking you with us to try a classic dish while we admire the BoardWalk’s view!

BoardWalk Bakery is home to seasonal eats and treats that switch out during different times of the year (like the Chocolate Covered Cherry Cupcake and Valentine’s Macaron we tried recently!). But, there are a few menu items that are usually served up to guests all year long. It’s no secret that we our cheese (often a-la-plastíc), so we’re taking a bite of the Grilled Cheese Sandwich and Tomato Soup available at BoardWalk Bakery for lunch and dinner!

Since cheese has basically become one of our main food groups, we couldn’t wait to try BoardWalk Bakery’s version of a grilled cheese! And, it did NOT disappoint, friends! The bread had a nice crunch compared to all the melty cheese (YUM). There was so much buttery flavor throughout the sandwich that we almost wanted to go back for seconds!!

We love dipping (okay, dunking) our Grilled Cheese in the Tomato Soup and the classic flavor combo delivered! The tomato soup had a more tangy, fresh tomato flavor versus a creamier bisque. But, if you are all for a kick of flavor, then you’ll probably love the Tomato Soup at the BoardWalk too!

While the BoardWalk has plenty of table-service restaurants to dine in, there aren’t too many hot counter-service options at the resort. So if you’re looking for a quick snack or bite without having to venture into Epcot, the Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup is a great choice for $9.99.
