Construction may have temporarily stopped at the Disney parks, but improvements are still in the works!
That’s because Disneyland has just put into motion a $200,000 plan to renovate Frontierland’s iconic marquee!
According to The Orange County Register, Disneyland plans to improve traffic flow by widening the bridge (similar to what we’ve already seen them do with Adventureland’s sign and walkway last year!) They’ll also be replacing the pair of 15-foot tall faux timber columns that flank entrance as well as refurbishing the Frontierland marquee!
If you may recall, Disneyland has also been making improvements to Tomorrowland’s entryway as well as other aesthetic enhancements as part of Project Stardust! We’ve started seeing these improvements popping up little by little over the past year!
See the designs for what Tomorrowland’s enhanced entryway will look like when it’s done here!
Now that the paperwork has been filed, we’re hoping Disney will share with us their vision of what Frontierland’s new-and-improved gateway will look like! We’ll keep you posted with any new announcements regarding this exciting development so stay tuned!
