We’ve often caught ourselves asking the question, “Just how do the Disney Imagineers do what they do?”
And if you’ve often wondered this yourself, now you can take an exclusive behind-the-scenes look into critical aspects of the Imagineers’ creative process!
On Disney’s new website #DisneyMagicMoments which launched last week, Imagineers are taking guests on virtual tours. This video tour will take you into the Imagineers’ Digital Immersive Showroom, also known as The DISH! If you’ve ever watched Star Trek growing up, think of this room as “the Holodeck” where anything you can dream up will appear right before your very eyes!
The DISH is utilized by Imagineers to see what the space for new attractions and experiences will look and feel like before the projects are ever built! That way, they can troubleshoot and problem solve any issues well before construction starts! How do we get one of these in our lives???
There are currently three episodes on #DisneyMagicMoments — with hopefully more to come! You can watch the latest episode below where Disney Imagineer Garrett Clark will take us on a virtual tour of Disney World and Disneyland without ever stepping foot outside The DISH!
