Although Disney World has opened some of its BEST restaurants all around the property, one place to grab a quick and easy option (especially if you want to take food back to your hotel) is McDonald’s on property.
Ever since the reimagined McDonald’s has popped up on Disney property, we’ve loved seeing the innovative elements at the restaurant, like the bikes outside and solar-powered lights. However, some restaurants around Florida haven’t been opening their dining rooms and only offer to-go and curbside pick-up options.
And, the McDonald’s on the Disney World property is one of the locations that is only operating with drive-thru at the moment!
After you place your order at the drive-thru area…
… you’ll pay at the window, where you’ll see team members in masks.
We couldn’t help but want a chilly shake in this Florida heat (and, boy, was it GOOD)! ;D Although they aren’t sure when they will be opening their dining room, McDonald’s hopes to be able to welcome guests back again soon! They are currently getting a few things in order before opening their dining room to everyone.
But, if you’re missing Disney food as much as we are, you can take a look at everything happening in Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom during their grand reopenings today!
These are all the restaurants reopening in Disney World here!

We tried the new McDonalds on Friday. We had a bonus from the app for free fries. We never got them. We ordered two apple pies and they were strawberry rhubarb I am guessing? Definitely not what we ordered. What are we supposed to do? Go bang on the door? Experience left a lot to be desired.
