We’re Over the Moon! ‘The Right Stuff’ Just Got Its Release Date on Disney+!

We’ve had astronauts on our minds for a while now.

After all, we’ve been looking forward to the debut of National Geographic’s The Right Stuff series since we first saw a sneak peek at last year’s D23 Expo. You can imagine our excitement when we found out this show inspired by America’s first astronauts is coming to Disney+ — and NOW we know WHEN!

Disney+ announced today that the new National Geographic show will start streaming exclusively on Disney+ beginning October 9th. That’s so close and yet so far away!

We’re super excited to stream this historic show and to learn more about the men who first took America to space. So neat! The tagline for the show is, “To carve their place in the world, they’ll have to leave it,” and we can’t wait to see what that means for these legendary figures.
