A prime spot at Disney’s Beach Club has been closed lately.
Beach Club Marketplace has been getting some nondescript renovations for the past few weeks. In the meantime, we’ve been getting our souvenirs and snacks fix elsewhere in the resort, including with temporary offerings in the Solarium. Now, Beach Club Marketplace is BACK and we’re taking a look at the changes.
Let’s head inside to see what’s different at this quick-service location!
Much of Beach Club Marketplace remains the same but there is one very big difference that significantly changes the way the room looks.
The lackluster diagonal tile that used to be featured in this location has been replaced by shiny new hardwood floors.
The light wood compliments the existing theming in the Marketplace and makes it feel a touch fancier.
We also noted that the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines that used to be featured have been removed in favor of regular soda fountains. Weird! We wonder where those machines went!
A glance back at the Mickey waffle makers will show you this HUGE new vent above the prep area.
We also spotted new coffee machines so that folks can get their caffeine fix.
Though some of the Grab ‘n Go stations remain the same, a few are updated with this model.
Finally, we noticed that some seating was available outside to aid with physical distancing.
Otherwise, the location is pretty much the same! Health and safety measures are still in place AND you can still catch some trivia on a whiteboard near one of the registers.
We did notice that The Solarium is closed and locked today as offerings have moved back into the Marketplace.
We’re fans of the new floors in Beach Club Marketplace and we’re excited to eat our Mickey waffles in such a nicely-refreshed space. As always, stay tuned to DFB for the latest Disney World updates.

What do you think of the improved Beach Club Marketplace? Tell us in the comments!Â
It looks exactly like it did before. What they really need is to get more variety in the menu and have more choices. Pop Century has a better food court and it is a value resort. What ever happened to a plain grilled chicken sandwich? Some of us have food restrictions and spicy is not a possibility. Eating at Disney food courts is becoming more and more difficult. The Disney magic is definitely vanished during this pandemic. They have not done anything right for DVC people. Please work on the food court.
