Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress is a CLASSIC attraction at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, straight out of the 1964 New York World’s Fair!

And though the attraction, especially its final scene, have gotten some updates and upgrades over the years, from time to time, this attraction shows its age.

And today, DFB reader @Mlecuyer28 alerted us to a big issue at hand, err, or should we say WITHOUT a hand?

Poor new millennium-era John is JUST trying to enjoy Christmas Day with his family without burning the turkey in his voice-operated oven, but it seems like while he was doing the prep work, he happened to misplace his hand!

It seems as though that increasingly hot oven is the LEAST of his concerns now. 🙁

While this guy is no sleepy Elsa or missing Jose, you just HAVE to laugh when stuff like this happens! At least John seemed to be taking the whole no-hand thing in stride — he’s still letting us know “There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow shining at the end of every day.”
