Another Disney+ release is getting closer!
Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon is on its way! We’ve seen trailers and spotted some merchandise online, and we’re getting pretty excited. We previously shared that the film will premiere in theaters and on Disney+ on March 5th…and now you can officially pre-order it!
The movie follows the story of a warrior, Raya, as she tracks down the last dragon to fight evil and restore her fractured land and its people. It sounds like quite an adventure! However, at first, the only way you can watch it on Disney+ will be with Premier Access. What does that mean? You can pay $29.99 to watch Raya and the Last Dragon an unlimited amount of times on the streaming service starting March 5th. This model is pretty similar to what Disney did with the live-action Mulan, so we’re not surprised to see it back.
For those of you are itching to dig in to this adventure ASAP: you can order it early with Premier Access on the Disney+ website! Once you purchase Raya and the Last Dragon, you’ll have access to it as long as you’re a subscriber. This offer will be available from March 5th-May 4th, 2021.
Keep in mind, the movie will be free to everyone with a Disney+ subscription starting on June 4th. So if you want to watch it and don’t want to shell out that extra $29.99, just wait until then to watch!
And if you don’t have Disney+ at all, you can still watch Raya and the Last Dragon in theaters starting March 5th. Tickets are now on sale for that, too! We’ll be sure to keep you posted here at DFB with more Disney news, so stay tuned!
