Disney’s pool refurbishments are still going strong.
Disney’s Beach Club
We’ve seen pools at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge on the to-do list. Surely Disney will run out of pools to refurbish eventually, right? Well, not yet!
Disney just announced that the waterslide at Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts will be undergoing refurbishment starting in February.
Stormalong Bay
There is no specific date listed for when this refurb will officially begin and end, however, we do know it’s this month. The pool at Stormalong Bay as well as the other 3 pools at Disney’s Yacht Club and Disney’s Beach Club will remain open. In case you aren’t sure what the waterslide is, it’s a 230-foot long slide that begins on the mast of a huge pirate ship! It’s one of the coolest waterslides in all of Disney World.
