VIDEO: You Won't Believe What Disney Crossover We Saw Today!

Watching a character cavalcade is fun on its own, but it’s truly something special when you lock eyes with your favorite Disney friend and they shout a funny phrase out to you or just give you a personal wave.

But you know what’s even better? Seeing Disney characters interact with one another! Whether it’s just a quick word from an evil villain directed at a character from a totally different movie, or something else, these are some EPIC crossovers we can totally get behind. And today we saw not 1, not 2, but 3 different characters interact with a bear you might just recognize from a classic Disney attraction. What would happen if a Country Bear crossed paths with Gaston? Today, we found out!

We were walking around Frontierland today when the Fantasyland Friends Cavalcade passed by. At the same time, up in the area above one building, Wendell from the Country Bear Jamboree was hanging around. Well, Wendell was waving at guests and having a grand time until he spotted someone (and that someone spotted him too)…it was GASTON!

At least to us, Wendell looked awfully scared of Gaston. Maybe it’s because he knows of a little song Gaston sang once where he got a whole town to shout “kill the beast!” We couldn’t hear exactly what Gaston said to Wendell, but we have a feeling it might have been something about wanting to turn Wendell into a coat or a rug. You know, a little like that animal fur draped over his chair in Gaston’s Tavern. EEEK.

But, Gaston wasn’t the only one who spotted Wendell. Peter Pan did too! Although this interaction seemed MUCH more friendly and less frightening.

But, our winner for best interaction is probably Aladdin. Since he is Prince Ali, he did what princes do and gave Wendell a courteous bow. How magical. Check it out in the video below!

It really was fun to see them all just interacting with each other! We worry what Wendell’s fate would have been if he had actually been a potential target of Gaston’s decorating in Beauty and the Beast. But, thankfully he was safe today! What Disney character crossovers will we find next? We’re not sure but we’ll definitely share them with you!
