EPCOT’s reimagined park entrance is lookin’ snazzy!
Hello, you beautiful fountain
While the new main entrance fountain debuted several months ago, we’re still seeing some work being done in the area! The Leave a Legacy panels that once stood here have been reinstalled in a brand-new location, and we’re looking forward to a mini-transformation of Spaceship Earth’s exterior. But today, MORE finishing touches have been added!
Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley shared that, in addition to six flags being raised in the area, the entrance has gotten new lighting and music! A color-coordinated light ribbon will illuminate around the entire plaza at night, complementing the fountain lighting.

In addition to those lights, Riddley hopes that the new soundtrack “brings energy and optimism” to the reimagined space. Take a listen (and enjoy a few moments of EPCOT ambiance):

It’s odd, I don’t remember the old Epcot entrance music, but I know that it was always important because as soon as I heard it I would get excited to get inside the park!
